Repair and Replace Guardrails

The intent of this invitation is to obtain competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors to repair guardrails, remove and dispose of existing guardrail material, and provide traffic control (during guardrail repair/replacement construction) at the seven locations in Henry County, Georgia, which are listed in this bid. New guardrail must match existing guardrail at each location. Example: If a Type 12 anchor needs to be fully removed and replaced (all ~53' of it, including the posts, rail, terminal). We want to make sure the Type 12 anchor is all one system (rather than Frankensteined guardrail, such as Trinity mixed with SKT-350 - they use different post types). All materials and workmanship must meet or exceed Georgia Department of Transportation Construction Standards and comply with all applicable State, Federal and local regulations and ordinances. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to fulfill the terms and conditions of this bid. Bids may not be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the time and date set for closing, except as allowed by OCGA. Henry County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities.
