The University of Missouri has determined demolition contractor pre-qualification is necessary due to the specialized construction types involved, and varied existing building types and building sites across the University of Missouri-Columbia campus. Buildings slated to be demolished include 240,500 GSF of space on eight locations on the main campus of the University: • Loeb Hall: circa 1959, approx. 14,680 GSF, 2-concrete and masonry construction. • London Hall: circa 1960, approx. 20,180GSF, 2-floors with penthouse, concrete and masonry construction. • Columbia Professional Building: circa 1924, approx. 26,875 GSF, 3-story concrete stone and masonry construction. • Read Hall: circa 1901, approx. 19,500 GSF. three-story w/basement, concrete, bearing masonry, & steel frame construction. • Neff Addition: circa 1959, 21,500 GSF, 2-story including basement, grade beam/pier foundation, steel frame and masonry construction. • Parker Hall, Noyes Hall, Old Student Health Center: 3 buildings which are interconnected. 72,095 total GSF. • Curtis Green House 1&2: circa 1939, approx. 6,520 total GSF, steel pipe columns on shallow concrete piers, framed glass. • Manor House; circa 1962, approx. 59,150 GSF, 8 floors with basement and penthouse, concrete frame, masonry cavity wall, brick face, construction.
