Description | The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in the Contract Documents. This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the Contract Documents, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of Work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids. Actual quantities of Work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the City Engineer and/or his designee. This CDBG funded Public Works project may consist of but is not limited to: Abatement and demolition of an +-1,800 square foot building located at 38580 9th Street East, Palmdale CA, 93550, as well as the clearing, grubbing and rough grading of the entire +-0.28-acre parcel. The work may consist of, but is not necessarily limited to the following: Asbestos and lead based paint abatement - Demolition of the building and all paved surfaces (concrete/asphalt/curbs, etc.). Removal of all utilities and capping at the property line as applicable (Water/Sewer/Electrical/Phone/Cable, etc.). Coordination with local utility agencies during cap and removal process. Removal of block wall and associated fencing at East end of lot. Protection in place of chain link fence on north property line. Replace/repair if damaged. Repair of block wall and fencing at intersection point with adjacent property. Clearing, grubbing and rough grading of the entire parcel Other Details Work shall be considered completed when all improvements have been removed and the site has been returned to a clear, flat, rough graded site. |
