Description

The Project work to be bid on is as follows: Replacement of 4, 40 MGD horizontal end suction pumps, replacement of 4 Variable Frequency Drives, rewinding of 5 450HP motors, wet well resurfacing/recoating, HVAC improvements, instrumentation and control upgrades/replacement, 1 replacement of a 72" slide gate, installation of a new backup water system for valves and pump seal water, replacement of 3 open c hannel slide gates, security upgrades, structural improvements, and other electrical improvements. The Project allotted time for construction is: 548 days Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, prepared on the form of Bid Bond attached to the Contract Documents or a Surety Company's Standard Bid Bond, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Tennessee and listed as a certified company in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, in the amount of five percent of the Bid. No bid may be withdrawn within 120 calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. All bidders must be licensed and shall comply with all requirements of the State of Tennessee Contractor's Licensing Act.
