City-wide Waste Water Repairs - The City of Wewahitchka

SCOPE OF SERVICES: The City of Wewahitchka will construct a city-wide wastewater repair. This includes replacement of most manholes throughout the city and relining of many of the pipes to reduce inflow and infiltration. The City experienced widespread flooding during Hurricane Michael and as a result experienced infiltration and inflow issues throughout the storm and in its wake. With a Low-Moderate Income (LMI) of over 61 % this project qualifies for the LMI national objective and has no leveraged funds. This project is considered a city-wide project and will take place at various sites. The scope of services sought by the City shall include, but are not necessarily limited to the following disciplines: a. Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Engineering b. Landscape Architecture c. Environmental Engineering d. Traffic Engineering e. Construction/Project Management f. Engineering Code Development g. Plan & Development Review h. Civil Engineering i. Structural Engineering j. Geotechnical Engineering k. Value Engineering l. Sampling and Testing Services m. Inspection Services n. Engineering Studies o. Cost Estimating EVALUATION COMMITTEE: An Evaluation Committee meeting will be held on September 29, 2022 at 6:05 PM Central Time at the Wewahitchka City Senior Citizens/Community building located at the 314 North 3rd St. Wewahitchka, FL, 32465. ACCEPTANCE AND REJECTIONS: When it is in its best interest, the City of Wewahitchka reserves the right to reject any or all proposals with or without cause; to cancel the RFQ and re-solicit the services; to waive any or all irregularities with regard to the specifications; and to make the award to the firm offering the greatest advantage to the City of Wewahitchka.
