Description | In general the work consists of removal of existing site light poles and electrical conduit, installation of new site light poles and electrical conduit, pulverize and relay of existing asphalt parking lot surface, removal of existing asphalt parking lot surface, shaping and compacting asphaltic surface base, placing hot mix asphaltic surface on approximately 4,600 SY of parking lot, removing and replacing the existing concrete driveway apron, painting parking lot stalls. Additional work includes excavating new pavement areas, site grading, as well as erosion control and site lawn restoration. Removal of excavation materials from this project will not be allowed due to considerations for the possible presence of PFAS. While PFAS is not currently regulated, directives for projects on State land is to store or re-use excavated materials on-site. In cases where this is not possible, excavated materials will be tested prior to movement off-site. Base Bid will be received for: A single lump sum bid for All Work. No deposit is required to obtain documents for bidding purposes. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted. Contract offer and construction phase records will be processed electronically. DFD Information System. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements. No in-person tours will be offered. The project site has restricted access that requires a security screening process.
