Description | The Utility Board has instituted VendorLink and DemandStar systems to provide current information to potential bidders. These systems will allow you to receive bid information quickly and at your convenience 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Question Deadline 09/06/2023 at 12:00 PM ET Vendors with questions pertaining to this bid specification must submit them in writing via email to .purchasj.ng@keysenergy..com no later than Wednesday KEYS is seeking a qualified vendor to engineer, procure, construct, and install a new 69 kV selfsupporting transmission pole. The transmission pole is to replace the existing square concrete pole, 1-2, at the corner of Fort and Geraldine Street in Key West, Florida. The purpose of this replacement is to accommodate the planned building "The Lofts at Bahama Village". There is an existing guy wire supporting structure 1-2, which conflicts with the planned building. It has already been determined that the existing pole will not be able to meet NESC conditions without these existing guys in conflict. The existing pole currently supports 927.2 ACAR 18/19 conductor and 3#5 Alumoweld overhead ground wire. The existing pole also supports 336.5 ACSR 30/7 distribution underbuild, an underground riser and several communications cables as well. The new pole shall be designed and installed to minimize transmission and distribution outages and be located as close as possible to the existing pole. |
