Description

To Construct livestock pens for the purposes of holding estray animals: 1. The total price shall include all labor, materials and delivery costs for the project. The overall size of the pens is 100’ x 125’ with an additional 50’ x 16’ loading and unloading area attached to the pens. 2. The pens shall include two (2) 20’ x 40’ holding pens and one (1) 20’ x 45’ holding pen with welded goat panels. The pens will consist of approximately 160’ of six (6) foot tall pipe fence rail and approximately 380’ of seven (7) foot tall pipe fence. There will be a total of eleven (11) gates. Three (3) gates will be sixteen (16) feet wide with a header over the gate to be twelve (12) feet off of the ground. Seven (7) gate swill be ten (10) foot wide with a header over the gate to be twelve (12) feet off of the ground and one (1) gate will be five (5) feet wide with a header to be eight (8) feet above the ground. All gates shall be constructed of the same diameter pipe as the pens and each gate hinge shall be greaseable. 3. Post may be concreted in the ground using a minimum depth of two (2) feet and utilizing two (2) bags of concrete per hole or posts may be driven in the ground a minimum of three (3) feet. 4. A 100’ foot long by 10’ foot wide by 12’ foot tall loafing shed shall be constructed over the holding pens. The roof of the loafing shed shall cover half of the pens and will have a fully sheeted 12’ foot wall to the north to serve as a wind break for the animals.
