Description

Question Deadline 10/12/2022 at 10:00 AM ET All questions regarding the specifications must be directed within the Bonfire portal. The Town of Beacon Falls is seeking bids from qualified respondents for the roadway rehabilitation of Burton Road, which includes the removal and installation of a concrete retaining wall, full-depth reconstruction, paving, installation of new concrete curbing, driveway aprons, monolithic concrete sidewalks/concrete sidewalks and guiderail, storm drainage modifications, and new signs and pavement markings. Respondents must have demonstrated experience in completing similar work (as described in the contract plans, standard specifications and special provisions) and adhere to standards and requirements (State of Connecticut Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Roads, Bridges, Facilities and Incidental Construction Form 818, dated 2020 and latest supplements, and Town of Beacon Falls standards) typical for such work. Beacon Falls is seeking bids from qualified respondents for the roadway reconstruction of Burton Road, which includes the removal and installation of a concrete retaining wall, full-depth reconstruction, paving, installation of new concrete curbing, driveway aprons, monolithic concrete sidewalks/concrete sidewalks and guiderail, storm drainage modifications, and new signs and pavement markings. Bid Bond: 5% Performance Bond: 100% Payment Bond: 100% TIME SCHEDULE & PENALTIES: The project shall be completed within 240 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages charge to apply will be one thousand two-hundred dollars ($1,200.00) per calendar day, in which work is extended beyond the allotted calendar days.
