Description

. Answers to questions submitted will be released in an addendum within 2 business days. Proposals shall be completely executed and must be accompanied by an executed Form 96, confirmation that copies of Addenda were received (if issued), and satisfactory bid security. A certified or cashier's check payable to the Fairfield Community School Corporation or a Bid Bond in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid amount must accompany each bid. All checks of unsuccessful bidders shall be returned to them by FCS upon selection of successful bidder. The successful Bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract amount. Bidders must be experienced in the construction of the type of facilities to be built under the Contract for which a bid is submitted. In determining the lowest qualified, responsive and responsible bidder, FCS will consider the Total Base Bid made for the Contract. Fairfield Community Schools reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding, should the Board deem it to be in the public interest to do so. Successful bidder shall begin the Work upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within 65 calendar days. Work not completed by Substantial Completion date shall be subject to liquidated damages in the amount of $200.00 per calendar day.
