Description | The assessment shall be broken down into three tasks 1. General existing conditions. 2. Recommended changes prioritized by effectiveness and cost. 3. Cost summary based on recommendations presented as an outcome of item (2) above. Task 1 – Evaluation – to include (by way of example): Evaluation of existing conditions, including: Review of physical security systems Areas of greatest intrusion vulnerability (architectural security) Areas of most significant egress vulnerability Locations with the greatest level of employee exposure Task 2 – Operational Consideration - to include (by way of example): Identification of locations necessitating the construction, or addition of physical deterrents Identification of the locations that are better suited to (or should be) staffed by county security personnel Task 3 – Final Report to include findings and strategic recommendations to implement security upgrades for continuous risk mitigation – to include (by way of example): Development of recommendations for security improvements Identification of short-term and long-term costs Prioritization of recommendations and development of an implementation plan Preparation of written Security Assessment Report Costs associated with constructed improvements Estimates of additional staffing where necessary Evaluation should include, the Historic County Courthouse 208 Lincoln Ave., the public building at 360 Peak One Drive (also known as ‘County Commons”), and the County owned Medical Office Building (MOB) 360 Peak One Drive. |
