Description | Construction of site grading, new asphalt trail, and other associated work tasks for a complete and proper installation. The project will generally require the following work activities: o Installation of New Asphalt Trail, o Sitework o Installation of New Storm Drainage, B. General Information: 1. All work will be confined to the permanent and temporary easements and the Contractor shall take great care to ensure that all areas affected by construction activities are returned to original or better conditions. 2. In the event archaeological materials are encountered during construction, the State Historic Preservation Office is to be contacted immediately. Archaeological materials consist of any items, fifty years old or older, which were made or used by man. These items include, but are not limited to, stone projectile points (arrowheads), ceramic sherds, bricks, worked wood, bone and stone, metal and glass objects, and human skeletal materials. 3. Safety of area residents, construction personnel, and others associated with the project shall be given high priority at all times. 4. Strict adherence to daily clean-up requirements shall be expected of Contractor personnel, subcontractors, etc. Construction activities may be halted by the Engineer or the Owner should Contractor personnel, subcontractors, etc. fail to |
