Cottonwood Cut and Pile

Contract provide for wildfire hazard reduction maintenance by reentry into multiple units within the Cottonwood Ridge project area. Multiple units will be treated by cutting and piling new growth and piling previously cut PJ material in the Cottonwood Ridge Project. Units will require previously treated materials to be piled into long piles or “windrows. See table below for a summary of treatment units and acres. This includes the contractor to furnish labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals to clear treatment units on approximately 430.5 total acres within the Cottonwood Ridge project area. The project is located approximately 20 miles northeast of Sunnyside, UT on the West Tavaputs Plateau, along Cottonwood Ridge in Carbon County, Utah.
