Roof Replacement of 1994 Aero Circle

The City of New Smyrna Beach, Florida is soliciting Invitation to Bid 10-23-AIR, Roof Replacement of 1994 Aero Circle, to select a qualified roofing contractor to replace the metal roof system on the hanger located at 1994 Aero Circle at the New Smyrna City Municipal Airport. The hanger is a pre-engineered metal building with an insulated 22 gauged metal roof system. The proposed project shall consist of one bid inclusive for the roof replacement. Contractors submitting a response must hold the required license and must have documented and verifiable experience. The hangar will be occupied during the duration of construction. Deadline for Written Questions: January 25, 2023, 5:00pm Recommendation to the Commission: February 28, 2023 Bid Bond: 10% Performance Bond: 100% Payment Bond: 100% The Contractor agrees to commence work within Ten (10) CALENDAR DAYS after the date of the Notice to Proceed letter and shall achieve Substantial Completion within Seventy-five (75) consecutive calendar days thereafter. The Contractor shall have an additional thirty (30) consecutive calendar days from the date of Substantial Completion to achieve Final Completion.
