Project Description: This project is for the implementation of bank stabilization measures in Buffalo County, SD adjacent to Lake Sharpe/Big Bend Dam Project. The work will consist of bank and slope protection of approximately 700 linear feet of Lake Big Bend on the site herein referred to as "Fort Thompson" in Buffalo County South Dakota. The work will consist of cutting, regrading, and compacting the existing bank to provide the proper slope for the placement geotextile fabric and rip rap stone. The contractor will be limited to the designated areas for operations. The work is located on Lake Sharpe/Big Bend Dam at the Old Fort Thompson Recreations Area, Fort Thompson, SD. The exact location of the work will be provided by the Contracting Officer's Representative. All work and transport of materials associated with this project must comply with all federal, state, and local regulations. The Contractor will be required to commence work upon receipt of contract award and after receipt of Notice to Proceed with all work completed by March 17, 2023.
