Questions Due Date: Jul 10th 2023, 12:00 PM EDT Online Portal Intent to Bid Due Date: Jul 19th 2023, 1:00 PM EDT || State-Funded Project || This project is state funded and will, therefore, be bid utilizing prevailing and non-prevailing wage rates at the time of bid. The Howard County Public School System requests your bid for the following: Base Bid 1.) Replacement of the existing cast iron sectional noncondensing boilers with high efficiency condensing boilers. 2.) Replacement of the existing heating water pumps, air separator, expansion tank, and make-up water assembly. Alternate No. 1 1.) Replacement of the existing indoor, natural gas-fired generator with an outdoor, natural gas fired generator. 2.) Replacement of the existing automatic transfer switch (ATS) with two ATSs, one for critical life safety systems and one for optional standby systems. 3.) Modifications to the emergency power distribution system. Alternate No. 2 1.) Replacement of the existing main electrical switchboard. The contractor or supplier who provides materials, supplies, equipment and/or services for this project shall attempt to achieve the specific overall MBE goal of 29% percent established for this project from Minority-owned businesses As of July 05, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2023-2032 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2023. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2023.
