Description | **As of December 28, 2022 this project has been postponed. The City of Clarksville Purchasing Office will receive two (2) sets of sealed bidding documents, one (1) original and one (1) copy for the construction of a new building at 1246 Paradise Hill Road shall be submitted. The City is not responsible for mail that is not delivered in a timely manner by the United States Postal Service, any delivery service (i.e. UPS, FedEx, etc.) or emails that are sent by the City that end up in a vendors spam or junk mail. It is the citys desire to retain a duly qualified company/contractor for the purposes of New construction of Kianas House a multi-purpose building located at 1246 Paradise Hill Road. The City reserves the right to waive any informality in any bid and to reject any and all proposals if it is in the best interest of the City to do so. Each bidder must include with the Bid Documents completed, signed, acknowledgement of receipt of Contractor Safety Guidelines, Conflict of interest statement, Drug Free Workplace Affidavit, Non-Boycott of Israel Affidavit, and Attestation regarding Illegal immigrants or Aliens. Failure to do so shall result in your bid being rejected. Absolutely No Exceptions. This is a federally funded project The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 as amended, 12 U.S.C. 1701u (section 3) and the general/ primary contractor is required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) on Sam.gov before contract can be executed. On contracts funded in whole or in part by federal funds, contractors and subcontractors must pay laborers and mechanics employed directly upon the site of the work no less than the locally prevailing wages (including fringe benefits) in the Davis-Bacon wage determination in the contract for work performed.
