Description

As of August 11, 2022, this is a sources-sought notice that is used by the owner for market research survey information only. At this time, it is not known if or when an actual solicitation will be issued. Closed sources-sought notice has been included below for reference. ........... Lawrence Livermore National Security, LLC (hereinafter called "LLNS") is seeking sources to build four new Office Buildings in support of LLNS' requirements over the next 24 months. Given the similarity in design, planned construction schedules, and proximity of the projects, LLNS is seeking experienced, dynamic firms that may be capable of constructing more than one building at a time. The effort will be build only; LLNS will have complete designs for each of the buildings described below prior to contract award. The use of the common designs is part of the larger DOE/NNSA initiative to leverage existing building designs and to standardize design elements across multiple sites. Join LLNS as it delivers on the DOE/NNSA vision of efficiency in execution. B226 - Joining and Vapor Deposition Facility - The new Joining and Vapor Deposition Facility is an approximately 16,000 square foot single-story building. The construction will be pre-cast concrete walls with steel structural support. The buildout to include the construction of labs, lab support space, office area, mechanical, electrical, restrooms and housekeeping spaces, as well as lighting and heating/cooling distributed throughout the facility. The following three office buildings will use the same base design with minor changes for the specific tenants planned for the space. Gross features (e.g. window locations, exterior door locations, mechanical systems) will be very similar across the buildings. One building design may be a mirror of the others. Interior finishes may vary slightly. Security requirements may also differ among the office buildings. Office Buildings are designed to be built to Guiding Principles. B265 - Environmental Safety & Health Office Building - Construction of a new 22,000 square foot single story office building. The construction will be pre-cast concrete walls with steel structural support. The building will have 100 offices, conference rooms, storage space, lobby area, Fire, Mechanical, Electrical, MDF/IDF rooms, breakroom and restrooms. B449 - Design and Certification Science Support Office Building - Construction of a new 22,000 square foot single-story office building. The construction will be pre-cast concrete walls with steel structural support. The building will provide offices and workspaces for approximately 105 employees. B144 - Stockpile LEP Office Building - Construction of a new 22,000 square foot single-story office building. The construction will be pre-cast concrete walls with steel structural support. The building will provide offices and workspaces for approximately 100 employees. Limited parking for ADA, electric vehicles and government vehicles is included in the design. Only contractors that have favorable expertise and experience in pre-cast construction build only, and who possess the necessary contractor qualifications, see attached prequalification invitation, will be considered. Interested contractors should submit prequalification information, safety questionnaire and a completed representative/certification form via e-mail to Cherida Loder, at loder3@llnl.gov. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
