Description | 1 This Statement of Work (SOW) is for a performance period beginning January 1, 2020 and continuing through December 31, 2020, with 4 ea. option years thereafter, and shall include 2 ea. mixed-bed DI systems at 2 ea. separate locations within D/Systems Integration and Support (D/SIS) at Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD) in Tobyhanna, PA 18466. Exercising of the option years is at the discretion of the Government. Option Year 1 shall be from January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021; Option Year 2 shall be from January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022; Option Year 3 shall be from January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023; and Option Year 4 shall be from January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024. 1.2 All work, including tank exchanges, shall occur during normal business hours, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. There shall be no deliveries on weekends and holidays. There shall be no cost to the Government for DI system installations and removals. 1.3 A site visit will be scheduled and attendance is recommended for offerors. Water sampling by offerors during the site visit is available. Both units are pre-existing and can be viewed during the site visit. Safety eyewear and footwear are the responsibility of the Contractors and shall be worn to view the pre-existing systems. 1.4 DI mixed-bed system tanks shall be sized to ensure bi-monthly tank exchanges by the Contractor. The Contractor shall install water quality indicator lights for all installed DI mixed-bed systems. 110V is available at each pre-existing DI water system for the installation by the Contractor of the water quality indicator lights. |
