Description

The project will include the design and administration for the remodeling of the current Provident Building space. The project will include meeting with department heads in order to create a space needs study for the County offices to relocate to the Provident building. The space needs study should include the option of a newly constructed building for government services. A walk through and project explanation meeting will be scheduled for the week of March 21st. Preliminary plans and cost estimates (Phase1), final plans and specifications (Phase 2), construction observation and administration (Phase 3) will be done in accordance with locally adopted state building codes and state standards. After an evaluation and selection process the results will be presented to the County Commission on Monday, April 4th, 2022, beginning approximately at 5:00 PM (Local Time), in the Tom Baker room of the City/County building for their approval. Late proposals will be considered unresponsive and will not be considered. Selection will be on the basis of the following criteria: 1) Recent, current, and projected workloads of firm's staff 2) Staff experience and technical capabilities 3) Related experience and performance on similar projects 4) Willingness to meet time and budgetary requirements RIGHT OF REJECTION: The Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals; to waive technicalities or to accept such as may be determined to be in the best interest of the County. Any information included in the proposal that the proposing party believes to be a trade secret or proprietary information must be clearly identified in the proposal.
