Description | As of August 3, 2022, this project is in the conceptual phase. A D/B firm has not been selected. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: RFQ-Design Build Services for Pump Station Rehabilitation- Shamrock Pump Station-33 and Suncourt Villas Pump Station-114 General Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (CFPUA) was created in 2008 to provide high-quality water and wastewater for the nearly 200,000 customers who live in New Hanover County. CFPUA owns, operates, and maintains the public water distribution and wastewater collections systems including two water treatment plants, two wastewater plants, elevated water tanks, well sites, pump stations, and several thousand miles of water and sewer lines. Scope of work The project scope of work generally includes, but is not limited to the following primary tasks: Preliminary Engineers Report/ Design memorandum Existing asset evaluation Subsurface utility engineering Geotechnical engineering and testing Validation of project site conditions Design of the project Cost estimating and reporting Lifecycle cost analysis Permitting Construction Closeout (punch list documentation and resolution, O&M manuals, systems and equipment training, as-built documentation, final inspection, and acceptance.) Project commissioning Project acceptance testing The SOQ shall include a one-page cover letter plus a maximum of thirty-five (35) pages to address the SOQ criteria specified in Section 3 (excluding Resumes and Subconsultant/Subcontractor Selection Plan). Table of Contents and section divider pages do not count toward the total page count. Resumes for each key team member shall be limited to no more than two pages. Resumes and Sub-consultant/Subcontractor Selection Plan shall be attached as Appendix A. It is the submitting firms' responsibility to confirm that CFPUA has received statement of qualifications via email.
