Street Improvement Project - West End

The project area includes improvements along all or portions of Marengo, Oak Glenn, West Whitehall, and Old Gatesburg Roads, all located in Ferguson Township, Centre County. The project includes relocating inlets, resetting sections of guiderail, milling and overlaying sections of the existing roadway, base repair, driveway tie-ins, topsoil and stone shoulder backup, repaving roadway, and other associated work. Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified for the work being performed with the bid. The project is subject to minimum prevailing wage rates. If mailed, an additional fee will be charged to cover postage and handling. The plans may be viewed on the Ferguson Township website and CONTRACT DOCUMENTS can be sent electronically at no charge. Bids shall be valid for forty-five (45) days from the date of opening unless extended otherwise. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid. Ferguson Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any bid formalities.
