34F Improvements and Eureka Staging Water Main at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport

Pre-Bid Question Deadline 07/27/2022 The Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) is soliciting bids from general contractors, construction managers and other businesses that meet the minimum qualifications set forth herein to submit Bids for the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) Checkpoint #34F Improvements & Eureka Staging Water Main project located at DTW. This project includes (1) work associated with improving existing infrastructure at existing construction Security Checkpoint #34F including, airfield operations area (AOA) fence/gate work, modifications to the existing fence mounted Perimeter Intrusion Detection System (PIDS), installation of new cable reinforced gate arms, new guard booths, new fiber optic cabling, security controls, power supply, security camera tower and concrete paving; and (2) installation of approx. 750 linear feet of new water main service including, tapping of existing water main, new gate wells/valving, new hydrants and appurtenances. This RFB, all attachments (except Attachment I) and addenda are available via the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN) website at which is also where all bids must be uploaded and submitted through.
