Drainage Rehabilitation

The Project includes the following Work: Division 1: The “Center Street and Elm Street Drainage Improvements” projects will replace existing culverts along Elm Street, Edwards Street, Pine Street, and the replacement of a culvert below the existing railroad. Work involves demolition of existing storm conveyance structures and piping, and the installation of new facilities. Jack and boring of storm piping will be required below existing railroad. Backfill of utility piping and placement of road subbase, hot asphalt pavement, concrete curbing and sidewalk as it pertains to trenching operations. All related erosion control, traffic control, and associated work is also included. Division 2: The “Beaver Dam Creek Bank Stabilization and Culvert Replacement” project will replace the culverts beneath North Pearl Street with aluminum 12’7” x 5’2” box culverts and associated appurtenances. The Beaver Dam Canal will be regraded, between North Center Street and North Pearl Street, and lined with geotextile and Class 1 or Class B riprap, as identified. All related erosion control, traffic control, water control, and associated work is included.
