1. Remove all existing landscaping (including shrubs/bushes/small trees/backfill) 2. Install downspout drain lines at each downspout that doesn’t already have one. 3. Downspout drain lines must extend at least 10 feet away from building. Yard cap must be the pop up design. Downspouts must extend into the transition, not left above it. All parts above ground level to the bottom of the downspout must be painted white.(Example below) 4. Install paver border using charcoal gray edge brick 6x9. Fill with landscape fabric, landscape rock (2” Iowa Lake-less than 10% mixed) Rock should be no less than 3” thick and flush with porch height.Landscaping should be evenwith the front of porch padsextending around the building to the back porch pads.(If no porch pads,go 3 foot away from building). Add in shrub that will be extremely low/no maintenance over the next several years, examples include: dwarf nandina Firepower, dwarf alberta spruce and variegated liriope. No shrub roses, annuals,trees,or hydrangeas. 5. No more than 5 plants/shrubs per building and location of plants will be discussed after contract awarded. 6. Located in the middle of the properties there is a small space where we would like to plant a tree and have all existing landscaping removed (including shrubs/bushes/small trees/backfill)
