2021-2022 Flexible Pavement Rehabilitation Project

Scope of Work: 1. Approximately 20,000 square yards of existing asphalt pavement to be rehabilitated which includes milling of existing surface, proof-rolling to locate areas of base repair, excavation and replacement of existing base and or underlying concrete pavement and with asphalt stabilized base, and placement of new asphalt surface. Other miscellaneous work includes reconstruction of a limited number of driveways to improve drainage and transition in the gutter area, construction of approximately 100 feet of 2 foot monolithic concrete curb and gutter, striping replacement, new inlets and storm sewer, grading of edge to improve drainage to existing ditches, and traffic control. 2. Construct approximately 900 square yards of concrete pavement to replace existing asphalt pavement with objective to improve the transition and drainage to existing concrete pavement. The scope includes excavation of existing road to new transition grade, placement of base, limited removal of existing concrete pavement, construction of new concrete pavement, reconstruction of existing inlets and connecting storm sewer, and traffic control.
