Description | NT600-0003 ALPHA Report No. G211736-D Bidders must register on this website to submit an electronic bid. Contractors will electronically enter into the bid proposal, found, their proposed pricing and upload only the bid security. Electronic bids do not include bids submitted by telegraphic or facsimile transmission. The bids will be publicly opened at the office of LJA Engineering, Inc., located at 6060 North Central Expressway, Suite 400, Dallas, Texas 75206. Bidders may choose to attend the bid opening via audio conference. To join the audio conference, dial 1 (346) 202-6170 and enter conference ID number 589 876 634#. Bidders may elect to submit hard copy bids to the office of LJA Engineering, Inc., located at 6060 North Central Expressway, Suite 400, Dallas, Texas 75206. The Developer, Lennar Homes of Texas Land and Construction, Ltd., will be the Payor for the contract for the Owner. This website will be updated periodically with Addenda, Plan Holders List, additional reports or other information relevant to bidding the project. Lennar Homes of Texas Land and Construction, Ltd. on behalf of Kaufman County Municipal Utility District No. 9 and Kaufman County Municipal Utility District No. 12 reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. (Texas Water Code 49.273) Bid security in the form of bid bond or cashier's check payable to Lennar Homes of Texas Land and Construction, Ltd. on behalf of Kaufman County Municipal Utility District No. 9 and Kaufman County Municipal Utility District No. 12 in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid submitted, must accompany each Bid. The requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Government Code, may apply to this Bid and/or Contract and bidder/contractor agrees that the Contract can be terminated if the bidder/contractor knowingly or intentionally fails to comply with a requirement of that subchapter. Bidder/Contractor declares that it has not received from a governmental body a notice of noncompliance with a provision of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Texas Government Code, or, if such notice has been received, bidder/contractor has taken adequate steps to ensure future compliance with such subchapter and has provided or upon request will provide documentation of same. |
