Iberville Mississippi River Bridge

Plans call for a new bridge. The locations included in the study were culled from a 2016 report from Capital Region Industry for Sustainable Infrastructure Solutions which proposed a list of infrastructure improvements for the Baton Rouge region. As of April 14, 2022, this project is in the planning phase and pending site location and legislative approval. It is possible a site selection can be determined by end of year 2022. A design firm has not been selected.
