Infrastructure Equipment for Chicago Executive

The Office of Information and Technology, Field Support Directorate (FSD) is responsible for the procurement, installation, and management of data communications systems for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The equipment identified in this document is in direct support of CBP personnel. This is a CBP User Fee Airport facility located in Wheeling, IL. This procurement is for the IT equipment necessary to support international passenger operations. Without this equipment CBP would be unable to continue clearing international flights in a timely manner per the established agreement with the offeror. SCOPE: The required equipment is to provide CBP network connectivity to the new office and to accommodate expected expansion of personnel and network resources. The vendor shall deliver infrastructure/data equipment and ancillary parts outlined in the Bill of Material (BOM). Also, the vendor is responsible for performing necessary operations to complete the delivery of the requested equipment. Any exception to any Part, Section, or Item, taken by the Vendor, must be clearly identified and an alternate solution to be proposed.
