Purchase and Installation of New Doors at Human Services Building

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to purchase and install new doors in the specified wings of the HSB at 500 North Main Street, Summerville, SC. 1. Provision of new doors as specified by Dorchester County in Attachment 1 – Door Specifications and Layout. 2. On the first floor wing, installation of new doors in existing door frames using the existing hardware. 3. Installation of new door frames (where needed) and new doors with new hardware on the second floor of the HSB. This shall take place after the first floor is completed. Measurements of doors for second floor will need to be conducted during site visit. Determination of frame replacement or installation shall need to take place during site visit. All second floor doors will need new hardware. 4. Painting/staining of DOOR FRAMES shall not be the responsibility of the contractor. 5. Contractor must obtain permitting and business license from the Town of Summerville. 6. Contractor must ensure finished work meets county’s approval. 7. Contractor must remove all debris left over. 8. Any change orders not in the scope or agreed upon prior to work beginning must be approved before it is started. 9. All work must meet all electrical and building code standards.
