Columbia Lock and Dam Relief Well Automation

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, requires a contractor to provide all plant, labor, and equipment necessary to automate the operation of 9 relief wells located along the landside lock wall at Columbia Lock and Dam from the lock control room. Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, and equipment necessary to automate the operation of 9 relief wells located along the landside lock wall at Columbia Lock and Dam from the lock control room. Work includes providing a programable logic controller (PLC), motorized control valves, adaption of flow meters, wiring, remote PLC control panel and datalogging ability. Contractor shall have 180 calendar days from award to complete the project. Columbia Lock and Dam is located at 588 Lock Office Rd, Columbia, LA 71418. It is recommended that prospective bidders make a site visit to verify the layout and arrangement of the relief wells, pump control platform and lock control room.
