Mobile Workforce Center for IWD

Provide an ADA accessible mobile workforce center that shall allow greater access for Iowa works staff and resources. This mobile workforce center shall expand access to services in all corners of the state by taking services to the customers, rather than requiring customer to come to the services. The mobile workforce center shall be used to provide services in areas of the state that lack a permanent Iowa works center or have an unusually high demand for workforce services due to mass layoffs, business closures, or national or state disasters or emergencies. Providing workforce and employment services to rural and remote locations across Iowa shall expand the reach of the state workforce system, providing access to services that has previously been limited.
