CI for 422 MAB and M1B(112472), (16378)

Part 1: Part Name: CI for 422 MAB (112472) Project Description: Replacement of two existing single span Pleasantview Road and Park Road Bridges; restoration of wetland and streams; stormwater pipes; guiderail removal and installation; signing; pavement markings; and other miscellaneous construction, all as indicated on the approved drawings for State Route 0422, Section MAB in Montgomery County, Lower Pottsgrove Township from approximately 475 ft west of the Pleasantview Road Bridge at segment 0060/0061 offset 3351/3355 to approximately 550 ft east of the Park Road Bridge at segment 0080/0081 offset 1568/1568. Part 2: Part Name: CI for 422 M1B (16738) Project Description: Reconstruction of approximately 1.7 miles of expressway including two (2) bridges carrying SR 0422 over Porter Road and Sanatoga Road and Creek (45.0 Sufficiency Rating), and two (2) bridges carrying Pleasantview Road and Park Road over SR 0422. SR 0422 will be reconstructed with a 9 foot left shoulder, 2-12 foot lanes, and a 12 foot right shoulder in each direction of travel. A concrete glare screen will be provided for physical separation between eastbound and westbound traffic. The expressway will be reconstructed on both existing and new alignments to meet current design standards for horizontal radii, shoulder widths, and vertical clearance. The acceleration lane for the westbound on-ramp from Sanatoga Interchange will be improved to meet current design standards. The proposed bridges carrying Pleasantview and Park Roads over SR 0422 will provide 16'-6" of vertical clearance with SR 0422. One (1) culvert at Sprogels Run, located just east of Porter Road will be replaced and extended.
