Roof Replacement At Department of Public Works Maintenance Building

This project is for complete replacement of two roof areas of DPW maintenance building. Area #1; Approx. 18,060 Sq. Ft. and Area #2; Approx. 9,225 Sq. Ft. with small lower roof area of 348 Sq. Ft. Replacement of entire roof areas roof material and all related work, replaced with new EPDM roofing and metal edging trim as indicated on design documents Work shall include but not be limited to the following scope ofwork: Replacement of entire roof areas roofmaterial and all related work, replaced with new EPDM roofing and metal edging trim as indicated on design documents. o Roofrelated abatement per Environmental Drawing and Design Documents o Abatement of exterior building roofupper-level fluted trim transite panels, o Removal of upper level translucent panels o Roof drain replacements including piping andinsulation o Removal of all mise, exterior wall abandoned electrical, conduits, devices etc. as shown o Installation ofnew metal decking in all areas ofremoved abandoned MEP equipment or curbs. o All MEP systems on roof areas shall be removed and new MEP installed including related electrical as identified on design documents. o MEP scope includes HVAC equipment, roof fans, vehicle exhaust system replacement, interior heating system and ductwork in welding bay, roof curbs. o Removal of all abandoned ductwork from previously removed MEP systems that remained in garage o Painting ofexteriorsteel columns, lintels, block walls, doors, doorframes and overhead doors o Installation ofnew building area upper-level insulated wall assembly and new parapet o Installation of new insulated wall systems between office area and maintenance mezzanine.
