Dexter Street 18-14-31-406-008 o Prevailing wage applies o Certified payrolls required o Bid Security Bond of 5% of Base Bid required o Demolition Permit Applications must be submitted to the Community and Economic Development Department within 14 days of notice of award o Demolition, asbestos abatement, and site restoration to be completed by within 45 days of contract being awarded unless deadline extended by Community and Economic Development Director o Bidders MUST be registered as contractors with the City of Freeport prior to bid opening Expected bid award at City Council meeting to follow, Monday, July 18, 2022. o Bidders must submit Application for Demolition within one week of bid award o Expected notice to proceed upon approval of demolition permit The City of Freeport reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or proposals at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to the Freeport City Council or the funding grantor not appropriating sufficient funds to complete the project. The City may make awards in any manner deemed in the best interest of the City.
