Description

Provide a refurbished shelter 9'W X 16'L X 9'H (144 sqft.) Must comply with or exceed the specifications listed down. Provide interior and exterior photos of the proposed shelter. Construct a concrete pad based on the sq. ft. area, according to the specifications provided by the manufacturer of the proposed shelter. Removal of existing concrete as needed. Construction of the ring grounding system around the shelter, must comply with R56 specifications. Connecting the shelter interior Halo grounding system to the new build exterior grounding ring. Transportation and installation of the shelter at a city's Fire station located at 2201 Zacatecas ST. Laredo, TX 78046. The shelter shall be placed in the southwest area inside the Fire station grounds. The Site is pin marked in the attached picture. Selected Vendor is responsible for all costs, permits, and approvals required for the transportation of the shelter, construction, and installation of the shelter at the site. Telecommunications shelters can/may be pre-fabricated elsewhere and ready to install at location. The City of Laredo has established a local vendor preference ordinance 2018-O-175. All informal and formal Requests for bids for contracts will be evaluated with a 5% preference for local vendors. Bidders are strongly encouraged to submit their proposals electronically through use of Cit-E-Bid or in person - hand delivery. Exterior walls insulation: R-11 Rigid Polyisocyanurate. Wall cable entrance; fit minimum 3 - 4" conduits. Ceiling insulation: R-19 Rigid Polyisocyanurate. Door: 3' X 7": 18 ga., insulated and painted to match the exterior finish. Keypad door latch. Hydraulic door closers with hold open. Fire Extinguisher: 10# CO2 wall mount. Electrical Service: 120/240V 1PH. Main service disconnect: 200A 3PH Fusible Type 3R. Surge Suppressor Disc: (1) 120/240 breaker enclosure with breaker. Surge Suppression: (1) installed in main service. Main Breaker Panel: (1) 200A 120/240V 30 space panel with a main breaker, with cover and ground bar. (4) Receptacles: 20A 120V duplex for maintenance purposes. (2) Receptacles: 30A 208V Twistlock L6-30R (for 9 - 15 KW UPS), at 7' from the floor. Equipment Drops (optional): 60 Amp 2 pole with 2 neutrals and ground in a 3/4 seal tight drop to racks. Equipment PDU (optional): AC EDGE Rack Mount PDU AC Indoor 2RU 110 to 130 Vac 2x Single-Phase Feeds 60A per feed 12x 1 to 15A NEMA 5-15 Outlets. (1) Exterior GFI Receptacle on own circuit. NOTE: All electrical conduits are to be galvanized EMT and fittings are to be compression type. No set screw type is permitted. Horizontal runs of EMT to be installed 7' 6" whenever possible. All flex conduits are to be sealtight type. Wire-way, conduit, and/or drop box will be properly de-rated for compliance with the current adopted edition of the NEC code. Interior Lighting: 4 ft. LED ceiling mounted, 2 lamp units with wrap-around lens. Exterior Lighting: 1000 lumen LED mounted at exterior door controlled by a switch and motion detector. (2) New Wall mount HVAC 3-ton unit(s), with one-year parts and labor guarantee. No need for a Heater system. Interior Cable Ladders: (12) LF of 12" wide, gold chromate. Cable Entry Port: 8-Port Modular Bulkhead Panel. Rigid Conduit: (2) 3" PVC sleeve cast in concrete for Telco entry. Halo Grounding System: No. 2 AWG Bare, stranded copper wire around the inside perimeter of the building. Single point system. Grounding Bonding: No. 6 insulated copper wire from metallic equipment to Halo, No. 6 green insulated copper wire from metallic items as electrical boxes, and equipment to perimeter ground buss, #2 stranded green jacketed communication equipment ground buss secured to brackets mounted to the cable ladder. Door Grounding: grounded with welding cable. HVAC Units: Should be grounded to internal halo only. Telco Board: (1) 4' x 6' x 3/4 x FRP covered plywood. (optional) Battery Acid Spill Kit.
