Roof Replacement for Alamance County Criminal Courts Building

1. Clean and prepare existing roof deck for new roofing system. 2. Roofing system shall be a 2-ply fully-adhered modified bitumen roofing assembly. Basis for Design is Derbigum APP membrane system. Work includes. a. Install a SBS base-ply sheet over the existing roof, mechanically fastened. b. Install APP base-ply membrane over the insulation, fully-adhered c. Install App cap membrane with white granules over the baseply. d. All membranes to be polyester-reinforced, including base ply, granular cap sheet, and flashings. 3. Flash new roof system into the parapet walls with specified modified bitumen membranes. 4. Install new parapet coping metal asspecified. 5. Flash all roof penetrations with new APP flashings, using polyester-reinforced membrane flashing materials or fluid-applied liquid flashing. Tops of flashings to be secured with continuous termination bar and sealant. 6. Furnish Roofing Company’s two (2) year workmanship warranty. 7. Furnish twenty (20) year manufacturer roof warranty 8. Project start date is Spring, 2020. Project duration should not exceed 90days. 9. The resulting contract will be to furnish all labor, supervision, materials and equipment necessary to perform the work as shown on the plans and described in the project specifications.
