The Work includes: Exterior: Abrasive blast clean to a SSPC-SP6 commercial standard within containment and apply a four (4) coat zinc epoxy urethane fluoropolymer system. Dry Interior: Abrasive blast clean the outer 24 inches of the condensate platform (including 4 in. up the column wall), and spot failures throughout to a SSPC-SP6 commercial standard. Apply a spot two (2) coat epoxy system to the prepared surfaces. Note that most of the “other” coating failures are on the baseplate and outer edge of the bowl. Pit Piping: Abrasive blast clean to a SSPC-SP6 commercial standard and apply a two (2) coat epoxy system. Exterior Repaint with Containment Dry Interior Partial Repaint and Miscellaneous Repairs. Foundation: Repair grout. Abrasive blast clean and apply a two (2) coat epoxy system. Repairs: 1) Replace the access tube roof hatch hinges. 2) Install a cover at the top platform opening. 3) Install handholds at the roof hatches. 4) Retape loose insulation on the fill/draw pipe. 5) Overflow pipe flap gate washers. 6) Install a fall prevention device on the column ladders and install an extension on the access tube ladder device. 7) Install a roof handrail with a painter’s railing. 8) Replace dry interior light bulbs. 9) Install a sample tap on the fill/draw pipe.
