188 MLK Practice Facility Site Improvements

The existing site currently houses the football practice field (runs east/west) and 7,000 SF weight room facility. The existing weight room building will be demolished. Other football-related outdoor equipment will be removed in order to provide enough space for the 360’ x 211’ 6” new grass field to run north/south on the east side of the building. Please also see “Exhibit D” for reference. The site improvements scope includes: Demolish 7,000 SF pre-engineered metal panel building / slab and HVAC equipment with pads General site work including grading to sub base level, drainage, and stormwater management systems – site work to prepare for new grass playing surface that will be installed Installation of 40’ poles with foundations and netting surrounding the playing field Demolition of 2 existing goal posts, 2 existing light poles, and 4 net support posts Relocation of existing camera stand platform to mid-field side line Installation of 4 light pole foundations and bases, ready for lighting consultant to place light poles and aim lights Run electrical conduit to the light poles and install contactor cabinet for future connection to light pole scope; run electrical conduit to future scoreboard New retaining wall on southwest portion of the site, new chain link fencing on the new portion of the retaining wall to connect with existing chain link fence Installation of 6’ padding on the east side of the building, around the bases of the poles
