| Description | The contractor will be required to provide asphalt paving for approximately 1.8 miles of Lake Owen Station Road and 0.3 miles of Hemlock Street in the Town of Drummond. Base Preparation: The contractor will provide 1 ΒΌ inch gravel base aggregate dense. The aggregate must be spread 22 feet wide along the entire length of the project to a depth of 6 inches. The contractor will provide hot mix asphalt for the paving. The asphalt will be spread 20 feet wide along the entire length of the project to a compacted thickness of 2 inches. Shouldering: A 2 foot wide shoulder will need to be constructed and fully compacted. |
