Description

Parking Lot Repairs, Resealing and Re-Striping for Weather Forecast Office: - Clean and Repair all deteriorated areas. Prior to sealing, the contractor will remove and dispose of loose debris (i.e. grass, weeds, dirt, rocks) from the parking lot area. Contractor shall make note of current parking space layout and shall remove concrete parking stops. - Parking Lot Seal. Seal entire parking lot area with 2 coats of Gem Seal Premium Sealcoat for asphalt pavement or equivalent. Hot pour rubberized asphalt joint sealer for asphalt to concrete joints as needed - Re-stripe Parking Area. Re-stripe entire parking lot area with white (commercial grade) Sherman-Williams Pro-Park Waterborne Traffic Marking Paint or equivalent to the present layout. All pavement striping shall be 4 inches in width. This includes two (2) blue handicap markings. Do not commence painting in any area until the pavement surface is dry, clean, and has cured for the minimum length of time recommended by the paint manufacturer’s recommendations. New striping will match existing. Reinstall concrete parking stops in their original positions. Provide traffic cones, barricades, and other devices needed to protect the paint until it is sufficiently dry to withstand traffic. Contractor shall provide necessary measures to protect adjacent property and vehicles from overspray. Asphalt area is approximately 40,000 square feet, and includes 24 parking spaces.
