| Description | Replacement of the existing EST 2 fire alarm system with a new 2100 Silent Knight Farenhyt Fire Panel and system as listed below. All existing horn/strobes shall remain and be integrated into the new system. This project includes a recently renovated area, Purchasing Division, located on the third floor. The County will provide digital floor plans as guidance only which may need revising to comply with present legal requirements. The project shall include furnishing, installation, programming and testing of the following devices and include all boards, modules and SLC's power supplies at the head end. All replaced devices must be supplied with a label attached identifying the device as described in the programming found in the fire alarm panel. Work to be performed any time after normal business hours as per prevailing wage rates. Weekend and evening accessibility is available. All lift equipment and tools to be supplied by the vendor. Replacement price to include permit fees if required. The Silent Knight Farenhyt Panel shall be programmed to the monitoring vendor as directed by the County Fire Alarm Administrator using existing phone lines. All commissioning and testing of the complete system must be to the satisfaction of the County Fire Alarm Administrator. All function buttons shall be programmed and labeled for elevator recall, horn strobe bypass and fan shut offs. At completion of project the vendor must submit a NFPA 72 inspection. | ||||
