| Description | Two-thousand five hundred feet (2500’) of two 4/0 AWG (18 strand) and one 2/0 AWG (11 strand) (neutral) stranded aluminum 600 Volt XLP insulated conductors triplexed (sweetbriar) in a 2 inch IPS continuous polyethylene duct. The conductors shall be black with a yellow striped neutral. The continuous polyethylene duct shall be an approximate 2,500 foot coil of 2 inch IPS, RED. SCH40, high density polyethylene duct, pre-labeled on an 8 foot (maximum) non-returnable reel [Flange Diameter = 96” (maximum); Inside Traverse = 38” (maximum); Drum Diameter = 46” (± 2”)]. The open ends of the duct shall be sealed by plastic caps. The duct shall have a durable identification showing the name of the manufacturer, duct size, material designation, date of manufacture, and sequential footage markings. Cable shall meet CFR 635.410 “Buy America” requirements to allow for use in Federal Highway projects. |
