**As of August 22, 2022, project was awarded to DF Eastwood Construction Corp dba All Island Fence & Railing., awarded amount is $24,184.86** Replace Fence and Gates This is an RFQ (request for quotes). This is not an IFB (bid). The LI DDSOO intends to award the contract to the most responsible and responsive vendor that provides the lowest cost and meets the requirements detailed in the scope of work. Upon request, vendor must demonstrate relevant experience on prior projects of similar magnitude. The LI DDSOO reserves the right to reject any and all quotes. In deciding whether to or not to submit a quote, please be aware the awarded vendor must adhere to the time frames outlined in the scope of work. The awarded vendor will also be required to submit certificates of Liability Insurance and Worker's Compensation Insurance as well as completed Lobbying Law Forms, and Signed Appendix A. Please be prepared to submit these in a timely fashion. The LI DDSOO will make no concessions to the vendor for any alleged misunderstanding or deception because of quantity, quality, character, or other condition. The LI DDSOO's interpretation of specifications shall be final and binding. Please note all staff working at the project site will be required to sign an attendance sheet for record purposes. This includes the residence visitors log and/or an attendance sheet provided by the maintenance department. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 30% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 7% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% DESCRIPTION: . The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Vendor isa responsible to verify all measurements and quantities. Work is to be completed within 14 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Site must be cleaned, and all materials secured at the.end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of (Install fence and gstes), before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Vendor is responsible to mark out all utilities. 2. Remove existing stockade fence and gates. Dispose of off site. 3. Supply and install new heavy duty posts with caps and top and bottom rails. 4. Supply and install new 6 feet high green PVC coated chain link fence (approximately 380 linear feet). 5. Install 2 gates - one 4 feet wide by 6 feet high and the other a 10" wide by 6 feet high double gate of green coated PVC chain link fence, hinged to swing in both directions with locks. 6. Install privacy slats in all fencing and gates, (Green PVC Hedge Chain Link Fence Slats) 7. All hardware to be galvanized heavy duty design. 8. All sharp fence edges facing the ground. 9.
