Description

1. Remove and dispose of existing electrical and plumbing, including any active and abandoned buried electrical lines or conduit. 2. Remove trees located in the construction area; install 40 5’ Ponderosa pine trees (or equivalent alternative) at 10-12’ spacing to create visual screening along the eastern edge of the campground. 3. Install new buried electrical lines in full conduit, and plumbing to deliver potable water to each campsite. 4. Install adequate number of valves to isolate of the new campground water supply from the Agriculture Building and to separate areas of the campground to allow for repairs without the need to shut down the entire campground. 5. Provide in-ground sewer connections for each campsite. Sewer connections must be encased in a concrete apron at an appropriate elevation to prevent damage by routine maintenance and repairs, and placed in an appropriate location to prevent the connection from being damaged by vehicle traffic. 6. Grade the site to provide adequate drainage for campsites and roadways; install culverts or other drainage facilities as necessary. 7. Provide appropriate Class 6 road base surfacing compacted to 4" for campsites and roadways; grade campsites and install pedestals and concrete so as to ensure proper drainage and access. 8. Install 25 Eaton Powerhouse Pedestal (MPL6006) or equivalent at each campsite. Each service must include one (1) 50 amp receptacle, one (1) 30 amp receptacle, one (1) 20 amp receptacle, one (1) standard 3/4" water service, and LED lighting for each campsite. Each pedestal must be permanently ground-mounted on a concrete foundation of appropriate size, at an elevation that will prevent damage to concrete, but also provide adequate drainage. All pedestal materials must be durable and UV-resistant, and receptacles must include weatherproof locking covers. 9. Install 25 Eaton LXT-LED Lexington LED exterior lights or equivalent throughout the campground. Lights must be mounted on steel posts at a height of 15-18 feet, must provide adequate lighting to allow motorists to clearly see pedestrians, and must be shielded or directed appropriately to avoid disturbing campers in their units. Poles must be mounted on concrete caissons at a height that will prevent damage by routine maintenance and repairs, as well as damage as a result of accidental vehicle contact. 10. Install a concrete pad on the west side of the campground along the fence line as noted on the diagram. The pad must be of sufficient size and durability to support two 30-yard roll-off dumpsters, and the weight of the vehicles required to drop off and pick up these dumpsters. The pad must be surrounded by a permanent 6’ high wood privacy fence, including two swinging/lockable gates on the north end to allow adequate clearance for the dumpsters to be dropped off and picked up.
