Falmouth Annex 207 Lab Renovation - Gc bid

The University of Massachusetts - Lowell, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from General Contractors for the Falmouth Annex 207 Lab Renovation for the University of Massachusetts - Lowell in Lowell, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by HGA Architects and Engineers LLC. The Project consists of: Modify current lab space with an added solid wall, exhaust fan for ventilation, eyewash/shower station. The work is estimated to cost $295,000. General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the University of Massachusetts - Lowell This deposit will be refunded for up to two sets for general bidders and for one set for sub-bidders upon return of the set in good condition within thirty (30) days of receipt of general bids. Otherwise the deposit shall be the property of the Awarding Authority. Additional sets may be purchased for $50.00. Bidders requesting Contract Documents to be mailed to them shall include a separate check for $40.00 per set for UPS Ground (or $65.00 per set for UPS overnight), nonA- refundable, payable to the BidDocs ONLINE Inc., to cover mail handling costs.
