ADA Boat Access at Vasona Lake County Park

The scope of Work of this Contract will consist of, but may not be limited to, the following: 1. Three Finger Dock a. Remove the existing three finger dock, piles, and gangway b. Furnish and install new piles, ADA-compliant dock, and ADA-compliant gangway; anchor new gangway to existing concrete pad. c. Install new steel gate at the entrance to the three finger dock. d. Remove existing handrail and install new ADA-compliant handrail leading to three finger dock. 2. Single Finger Dock a. Remove the existing single finger dock, piles, and gangway b. Furnish and install new piles, single finger ADA-compliant dock, ADA-compliant gangway, ADA-compliant kayak launch (with transfer bench, slide board, and railing system), and reinforced concrete pad; anchor new gangway to new concrete pad. c. Install new steel gate and fencing at the entrance to the single finger dock. 3. Civil Work a. Install asphalt and concrete as required to construct an ADA-compliant pathway from the parking lot to the proposed docks. Remove existing asphalt, concrete, and landscaping as needed to construct the proposed improvements. b. Restripe existing ADA parking stalls as standard parking stalls, stripe proposed ADA parking stalls, and restripe “DO NOT ENTER” striping. c. Remove curb and install landscaping as required to construct self retaining area for storm water treatment.
