Description | Furnish new 3,000,000 BTU/HR hot water boiler. Remove old boiler. Plumb new boiler and integrate with existing heating system including building automation system. Provide supervision equipment materials and skilled labor to perform the following work: 1. Furnish new hot water boiler, minimum of 3,000,000 BTW/HR. 2. Successful bidder will confirm that any furnished product will meet or exceed the design specifications of the original product which is being replaced. 3. Remove existing boiler. School will retain parts and appurtenances as requested by school engineer. 4. Plumb new boiler and integrate with existing heating system and building automation system. System must fully communicate with any new parts/valves/equipment like unto previous boiler. 5. Successful bidder will be responsible to confirm that the working condition of existing electrical switches, relays, valves, gauges, etc. are completely functional, or will replace any item necessary to complete the installation and ensure full functionality. 6. Successful bidder will demonstrate all parts and equipment furnished in this project to the building engineer upon project close-out. 7. Successful bidder will furnish two (2) sets of as-built drawings and manufacturer's cut sheets from any furnished product upon project close-out. 8. Successful bidder will warranty all products and labor for a minimum of one year, including priority troubleshooting for that time period to minimize any outages during that time. 9. Ensure that all building, plumbing, and safety codes are met. 10. Successful bidder will start this project within thirty (30) days of notice of award. 11. Contractor to secure necessary permits. 12. Contractor to field verify dimensions and specifics of all projects listed above before placing bid. 13. Not responsible for contractor errors as a result of non-field verification |
