Description | The Marion County Board of Education is accepting sealed bids for the stripping and waxing of six (6) lunchroom floors with attached offices, closets, and storage rooms. All floors are to be stripped and four coats of Board provided wax/sealer applied. The Board will provide Spartan On an On wax and the bidder will provide all other supplies and labor. The winning bidder may start on or after December 17, 2022 and must be completed by January 2, 2023. The winning bidder will schedule work with Jennifer Roberts, CNP Director. The bid price must be valid for a period of 30 days beginning on the date the winning bidder is notified. The bid price must include the costs for labor and materials other than the wax. Stripper will not be provided by the Board. The bid will be awarded based on total cost of all lunchrooms. Individual lunchroom bids will not be accepted. A detailed list of required specifications is listed below and any further questions can be directed to Mrs. Jennifer Roberts, CNP Director, at (205) 921-3191 or jroberts@mcbe.net Specifications: Brilliant Elementary - Dining hall Guin Elementary - Dining hall and one office Hackleburg - Dining hall Hamilton Elementary - Dining hall, one office and one storage room Hamilton High - Dining hall and storage room Phillips Elementary (Bear Creek, AL) Dining hall, one office and storage room The results of the bid will be presented to the Marion County Board of Education at its next scheduled meeting for action. he Marion County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts of bids. Payment will be through normal Board payment procedures. Invoice terms are to be Net 15 days from date of delivery. MCBE is not responsible for bids lost in the mail. No bid bond will be required for this bid. No preference zone is applicable for this bid. All bidders must certify on the invoice that all labor used complies with all applicable Alabama laws. The winning bidder will be required to break down the winning bid amount between lunchrooms for accounting purposes only on the invoice. |
