Description | This project includes approximately 2,325 SY of 5-inch concrete pavement parking lot with integral curb, driveway approaches, sidewalks, and curb ramps. This project also includes the installation 450 LF of 6-inch PVC ASTM D3034 SDR 26 wastewater line with services, and 550 LF of 6-inch PVC C900 DR-18 waterline with services. The proposed work shall also include installation of erosion control, traffic controls and removal and disposal of excess materials. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashiers check or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid price payable without recourse to Lockhart ISD, or a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute required performance and payment bonds. The contract shall be awarded to the best valued bid; however, the right is reserved, as the interests of the OWNER may require, to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality or minor defects in bids received. Bids may be held by the Lockhart ISD for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the opening for Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. In addition, contractors shall make their own individual site inspections and/or investigations to make themselves aware of existing conditions/issues. Failure to make adequate observations and/or ask questions shall not be grounds for requesting additional work or services. Questions shall be forwarded to J.
